Frontline: Previewing Content

Article Last Updated Sep 10, 2026

This article applies to:

Want to see how your Frontline content will look and behave before you share it with an audience? You can easily preview your training whenever you want. Use the preview function to test interactivity, responsiveness across devices, navigation, and more. Here’s how:

  • Open Preview

  • Verify Responsiveness

  • Check Interactive Elements and Navigation

Open Preview

Click the Preview button in the upper right corner of the editor to switch to preview mode. In the quick reference format, the preview launches in the course outline or lesson you're currently editing. When you’re done, click Edit to exit preview mode and return to where you left off in the editor.

Verify Responsiveness

Clicking the device icons in the upper right corner lets you see how your training will appear on computers, tablets, and smartphones. Since Frontline is fully responsive, your training should adapt automatically to suit each screen size and orientation.

Check Interactive Elements and Navigation

Preview lets you click through interactive features to see how learners will experience them. You can also check that navigation settings in quick references are working as expected.
