Rise 360: How to Use Gallery Blocks

Article Last Updated Jan 16, 2026

This article applies to:

Want to add visual interest to your content by showcasing multiple images in various formats, including carousels and grids? Try using gallery blocks. Here’s how to get started.

  1. Insert a Gallery Block
  2. Modify the Gallery Block
  3. Modify the Images
  4. Accessibility

Step 1: Insert a Gallery Block

  1. Click All Blocks in the blocks shortcut bar or the insert block icon that appears when you mouse over a boundary between blocks.
  2. From the sidebar, select the Gallery category, then choose Carousel or a grid block.

Step 2: Modify the Gallery Block

Use the format menu to modify how your content displays on the screen. You can adjust block padding, enable or disable the ability to click to zoom, and adjust the corner radius for all gallery images.

To see your images in a different block template, hover over the block and select a template from the menu that appears on the left-hand side. If you choose a block type that displays fewer images than your current gallery, the first image in the gallery is used. Unused images aren't lost, and you can revert to a larger gallery that includes all original images at any time. If the template supports more images than are currently shown, extra gallery entries remain blank until you add additional images.

Step 3: Modify the Images

To modify the images, hover over the block and select the content icon that appears in the editing toolbar on the left. Click Edit

From here, you can replace the images with your own, generate a new image with AI, choose a new image from Content Library 360, crop the image, or add alternative text.

Accessibility

Gallery blocks are accessible as long as you provide alternative text. Conduct testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers to ensure accessibility. For further guidance on creating accessible content, check out the accessibility-focused design tips in the resources below:
