Rise 360: Turning Ideas Into Training With Articulate MCP

Article Last Updated Jun 29, 2026

This article applies to:

If you already use AI tools to brainstorm training ideas, you can go further and faster with Articulate MCP. Connect your AI tools to Articulate 360 and turn your conversation into a draft outline in Rise 360, ready to build whenever you are. Read on to learn more.

Understand Articulate MCP

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools securely connect to external services. Articulate MCP uses this connection to bridge your AI chat tool, like Claude or ChatGPT, and your Articulate 360 account. Once the connection is established, the work you start in chat can show up where you actually build.

Articulate MCP lets you do two things from your AI chat tool:

  • Build training. Describe your course topic, audience, and goals, and AI generates a draft outline in Rise 360, ready for you to review and build on. Frontline customers can also initiate package creation the same way.
  • Browse existing content. List and filter your existing Rise 360 courses and Frontline packages without switching tools.

Set Up Articulate MCP

The setup process depends on your AI tool subscription. If your organization uses Claude Enterprise or ChatGPT Enterprise, Business, or Education, an IT admin must first add the Articulate connector before individual users can connect. If you're on a personal plan, you can skip straight to connecting your own account.

Add the Connector for Claude Enterprise

To complete these steps, the admin must be an Owner or Primary Owner of the Claude organization.

  1. Sign in to Claude and go to Settings > Organization Settings > Connectors.
  2. Click Add to add a new custom connector.
  3. Enter the following details:

  4. Filter or narrow results by describing what you're looking for, such as:
    • Finding content by topic.
    • Seeing what’s recently updated.
    • Locating content published within a time range.
