When you export text from a Storyline 360 or Studio 360 course for translation, you can choose an XLIFF file or a Word document. When your course has bulleted lists, numbered lists, or custom paragraph spacing, we recommend using XLIFF translation. Word can break formatting and spacing for these features.

XLIFF is an industry standard for localization, and there are many free and premium tools for working with XLIFF files.
