Articulate 360: Managing AI Permissions
Article Last Updated Mar 26, 2026
This article applies to:
As an admin, you control which creators can use AI features in your Articulate 360 subscription. You can enable access for everyone, limit it to specific user groups, or turn it off entirely.
Understand AI Permissions
Before you get started, here are a few details to know about managing AI permissions:
- You must be an admin to change AI permissions.
- The account management console setting controls whether creators can use AI features in Rise 360 and Storyline 360. Disabling AI from here makes AI features non-functional, but they’ll still appear in those apps. To fully disable AI functionality, submit a request.
- Turning off AI access doesn't affect pricing, since your Articulate 360 subscription includes AI.
Choose Who Can Access AI Features
Follow these steps to manage creators’ access to AI for your subscription:
- Access your account management console in any of the following ways:
-
- Sign in directly to https://id.articulate.com/redirect/account.
- From the Articulate 360 desktop app, click the drop-down arrow in the upper right corner and choose Profile & Account. This opens your Articulate 360 account in your default web browser.
- From the Articulate 360 home page or any of the web apps, click your avatar in the upper right corner and choose Account.
- Select the AI tab on the left side of the screen.
- From the Create with AI drop-down arrow, choose one of the following options:
-
- Everyone: Enables AI for all team members with creator permissions. This is the default setting.
- Specific groups: Enables AI only for selected groups. Read the next section on managing group access.
- No one: Disables AI for all team members. You’ll be prompted to confirm before AI is disabled for everyone.
Manage Group Access
When the Specific groups option is selected, you can control which groups have access to AI features. If you haven’t set up creator groups in your team subscription yet, do that first.
- Enable or disable access for each group in the list, or use the Enable all and Disable all options to update access in bulk.
- Click Save to apply your changes. At least one group must be enabled.
You can also:
- Search groups
- Filter the list by groups with or without access
- Set default access for new groups
