By default, Quizmaker 360 gives learners one attempt to answer each graded question in your quiz, but you can change that. Here's how to give learners more than one attempt for questions they answer incorrectly.
You can change the default number of attempts for all new graded questions. Here's how:
- Switch to Question List View.
- Go to the Home tab on the ribbon and click Quiz Properties.
- Select the Question Defaults tab on the left side of the window.
- Use the Attempts permitted drop-down to select a value.
- Click OK.
Existing questions won't be affected when you change the default number of attempts, so it's a good idea to set your question defaults before adding slides to your quiz. You can override the default number of attempts for individual questions (see below).
To set the number of attempts in Question List View, just click the Attempts field beside any graded question and select a value from the drop-down list that appears.
To set the number of attempts for an individual question in Form View, go to the Home tab on the ribbon and select a value from the Attempts drop-down.
To set the number of attempts for an individual question in Slide View, go to the Question panel on the right side of the screen and select a value from the Attempts drop-down.
