Access and Manage Brands
By default, only Admins can access the Brands tab. Follow these steps to get started:
-
Click your profile in the Account Settings page for your Articulate 360 subscription and select Account.
-
Select Brands in the left-hand sidebar.
All the brands created for your account display in this tab and can be sorted by modification date, creation date, or title.
The Brands tab can also be accessed from within Rise 360 content:
- Open any content item.
- Click the Theme icon.
- Click Apply a Brand.
- Click Manage Brands.
An Admin can grant others access by enabling brand management for all users with dashboard access. Here’s how:
- Within Brands, select the Permissions tab.
- Select Everyone from the Manage brands drop-down menu.
When Everyone is selected, all users in your account can create, modify, and delete brands, as well as set the default brand.
Create a Brand
Creating a brand is quick and easy. There's no limit to the number of brands an account can have. Follow these steps to get started:
- With the Brands tab selected, click the Create Brand button.
- Give your new brand a unique name and click Set up brand.
- Expand the color selector to select the Primary brand color. You can either use the color selector window, enter a hex value, or use the eyedropper tool to capture a color. This will be the main color used for banners and accents throughout the training.
- You can also select Additional colors. These will display as brand option presets in color selectors.
- To add a logo, click the Upload logo button and select an image file from your computer. For best results, use a square image with minimal whitespace and a transparent background.
- Select the heading and body fonts from the standard Rise 360 fonts or from fonts that have been uploaded to your organization, if available.
- Click Save to finish.
Add and Manage Custom Organization Fonts for Brands
If you want to use custom fonts from your organization but none have yet been uploaded, you can upload new fonts from the screen of any brand.
- Under Fonts, click Manage organization fonts.
- Click Upload font.
- Name your font and upload the associated .woff file. Learn more about adding custom fonts to Rise.
- Click Add font.
Once a custom font has been added, anyone with brand access can add it to their brands. To modify or delete a custom font, click the appropriate button in the custom font list.
Note: Custom fonts uploaded to brands aren't added to the custom font menu for themes.
Make a Brand the Default
On the Brands tab, the default brand is indicated by a Default tag on its card. Content created after you set the brand default automatically applies the brand's logo, color, and font settings. Making a brand the default or replacing the default doesn't override settings for your organization's current content and, if deleted, doesn't revert settings.
Make any brand the default brand for all new training by toggling on the Apply by default setting in the brand settings, or by selecting the Set as default option from any brand card menu on the main Brands tab. There can only be one default per organization.
Apply a Brand
In any training, open the Theme menu at the top of the screen to get started.
- At the top of the menu, select Apply a Brand or, if a brand is already applied, click the Edit button.
- In the Style menu, select a brand from the drop-down menu.
- Click Save and then Confirm to accept the changes.
- Applying brand settings overwrites any current logo, color, or font customization in the training. You can override theme settings for individual content without affecting the brand's settings.
Modify and Delete Existing Brands
In the Brands tab in account settings, select a brand card to modify its settings. Change any or all of the settings, then click Save to apply your changes.
Once the changes have been saved, the content creator for any existing content created with that brand must manually accept the update.
- Open the Theme menu. If there are changes to apply, a Brand update available banner displays.
- Click Review changes to see how the modified brand differs from the current content.
- Click Apply updates to accept the changes. If changes aren't accepted, then the content retains its current settings.
Delete a brand by selecting Delete from the brand card menu, then confirming your action. When a brand is deleted, content created with it retains its brand styling.
