Statement blocks are an easy way to give your text more oomph. With bold formatting and graphic elements, they're here when you want to make a statement.

Create a Statement Block with AI Assistant

Easily create statement blocks with AI Assistant. Start from scratch or use AI-powered suggestions to tweak and transform existing content into a statement block in no time! Learn how to use AI Assistant to level up your course authoring game.

Step 1: Insert a Statement Block

  1. Open a Rise 360 course, then edit an existing lesson or create a new one.
  2. Select All Blocks from the blocks shortcut bar. Or, click the insert block icon (+) that appears when you mouse over a boundary between blocks.
  3. When the sidebar appears, choose the Statement category in the block library, then select the block you want.
  4. Once inserted, edit the text in the main window. You can also use the Content icon to open the sidebar and modify the text as well as add generated AI audio, recorded audio, or upload an audio file

Step 2: Modify the Statement Block

Use the format menu to modify how your content looks on the screen. In addition to adjusting block padding and toggling the placement of audio, you can expand or constrain the width of your text with content width. If the block has a divider, you can enable or disable it, modify the size, and change the amount of padding around the divider.

Modify Note Blocks

For note blocks, you can upload your own icon.

  1. Hover over the block to access the left-hand design toolbar. Click the Content icon.
  2. Under Icon, click Upload.
  3. Select an .svg file and click Open.

In addition, note blocks have the following block-specific modifications available:

  • Adjust the corner radius
  • Change the note size
  • Modify the note background color
  • Enable or disable the icon
  • Modify the icon color
