  1. In a course or artifact with AI Tutor enabled, click the Ask AI Tutor button in the lower-right corner to open the chat window. This button might be labeled differently by the content owner.

FAQs

Will AI Tutor give me the answers to quizzes and knowledge checks?

No. AI Tutor is designed to support your learning, not bypass the process. You won’t be able to get answers from AI Tutor during quizzes or knowledge checks. This ensures that AI Tutor enhances your comprehension while preserving the instructional intent of assessments.

Does AI Tutor support languages other than English?

AI Tutor works with translated and localized content, and its underlying large language model (LLM) can understand and respond in languages supported by OpenAI.

Does AI Tutor pull content from outside the course?

AI Tutor is grounded in the published content—it doesn’t browse the web. However, since AI Tutor uses a large language model (LLM) with built-in general knowledge, it may occasionally draw on information beyond the published content, especially when you ask something the content doesn't cover. We're actively working to reduce that.

Can the content owner see my chat?

By default, your conversations with AI Tutor are private. Articulate stores your prompts to surface analytics for the content owner. They can access de-identified, aggregated insights, like common questions and topics, but they never see your individual conversations.

Does my feedback get shared with Articulate?

Yes. We use thumbs-up/thumbs-down feedback and interactions. Feedback goes directly to our product and engineering teams to improve the AI Tutor experience.

Can AI Tutor answer questions about audio and video content?

If transcripts are available for audio and video content, AI Tutor can access them to answer questions about their content.
