Maintain visual consistency across training content by offering centralized presets for logos, brand colors, and font families with the Brands feature. When you set a default brand, you ensure that every new project automatically adopts your organization’s design standards, while existing content can be updated quickly by selecting a specific brand.

  1. Access the Brands Tab
  2. Create a Brand
  3. Apply a Brand to Content
  4. Modify and Delete Existing Brands

Access the Brands Tab

By default, everyone can access the Brands tab to see all the brands created for your account. You can sort them by modification date, creation date, or title.

There are multiple ways to access the Brands tab.

On your dashboard, select the Brands drop-down and click Manage brand settings or navigate there from the dashboard sidebar:

  1. Click Settings on the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Select Brands.

If you have AI disabled for your subscription, you can only access the tab via your Account Settings page.

  1. Click your profile and select Account.
  2. Select Brands in the left-hand sidebar.

The Brand tab can also be accessed from individual deliverables:

  1. Open any deliverable.
  2. Click the Theme icon.
  3. Click Apply a Brand.
  4. Click Manage Brands.

Restrict Brand Management Access

Want to limit who can manage brands within your account? You can restrict access by enabling brand management permissions for Admins only. Here’s how:

  1. Within Brands, select the Permissions tab.
  2. Select Admins only from the Manage brands drop-down menu.

Create a Brand

Creating a brand is quick and easy. There's no limit to the number of brands an account can have. Follow these steps:

  1. With the Brands tab selected, click the Create Brand button to get started.
  2. Give your new brand a unique name and click Set up brand.
  3. Expand the color selector to select the Primary brand color. You can either use the color selector window, enter a hex value, or use the eyedropper tool to capture a color. This will be the main color used for banners and accents throughout the training.
  4. You can also select Additional colors. These will display as brand option presets in color selectors.
  5. Click the Upload logo button and select an image file from your computer. For the best results, use a square image with minimal whitespace.
  6. Select the heading and body fonts from the standard Rise 360 fonts or fonts uploaded to your organization, if available.
  7. Click Save to finish.

Note: Brands are created at the subscription level and are available to everyone in your organization, regardless of subscription type.

Manage Custom Organization Fonts for Brands

You can upload and manage available custom fonts from the screen of any brand. Here’s how:

  1. Under Fonts, click Manage organization fonts.
  2. Click Upload font.
  3. Name your font and upload the associated .woff file. Learn more about adding custom fonts to Rise.
  4. Click Add font.

Once custom fonts have been uploaded, anyone with brand access can add them to their brands. To modify or delete a custom font, click the appropriate button in the custom font list.

Note: Custom fonts uploaded to brands aren't added to the custom font menu for themes.

Make a Brand the Default

On the Brand tab, the default brand is indicated by a Default tag on its card. Content created after you set the brand default automatically applies the brand's logo, color, and font settings. Making a brand the default or replacing the default doesn't override settings for your organization's current content and, if deleted, doesn't revert settings.

Make any brand the default brand for all new training by toggling on the Apply by default setting in the brand settings, or by selecting the Set as default option from any brand card menu on the main Brands tab. There can only be one default per organization.

Apply a Brand to Content

Frontline and Articulate 360 AI users can select a brand from the drop-down menu on the dashboard when generating content.

Brands can also be applied to any deliverable by following these steps:

  1. In your selected deliverable, open the Theme menu at the top of the screen.
  2. At the top of the menu, select Apply a Brand or, if a brand is already applied, click the Edit button.
  3. In the Style menu, select a brand from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Save and then Confirm to accept the changes.

Applying brand settings overwrites any current logo (if supported by the content type), color, or font customization. You can override theme settings for individual content without affecting the brand's settings.

Bulk Apply a Brand

Articulate 360 AI users with AI enabled for their subscription can also apply a brand to multiple deliverables at once. From your library in your Private folder or a team folder where you have Owner or Manager permissions, follow these steps.

  1. Hover over and select the items you'd like to modify.
  2. Click the Apply Brands icon in the upper-right of the dashboard.
  3. Select a brand from the list and click Apply.

Once you apply a brand to a training, the name is listed on its dashboard content card.

Modify and Delete Existing Brands

In the Brand tab in account settings, select a brand card to modify its settings. Delete a brand by selecting Delete from the brand card menu, then confirming your action. Content created with that brand retains its styling even after the brand is deleted.
