Bring a topic, a set of talking points, or source material you already have, and let AI turn it into a ready-to-present training deck you can tailor to your needs. Read on to learn how.

Generate a Training Deck

From your dashboard, select Training Deck and follow the content creation process. You can also generate a new training deck from the library.

Manage and Add Slide Content

When you open a training deck, you'll see a scrollable list of slides, with a matching set of thumbnails in the sidebar. Select a slide in either area to work on. The active slide is highlighted with a blue outline in both areas, so you always know where you are.

To duplicate or delete a slide, hover over it, then click the duplicate or trash icon in the upper-right corner. To reorder slides, drag a slide in the sidebar to a new position.

Choose a Slide Template

Every slide starts from one of several templates, and most templates have several variants. To add a new slide, click the Add new button in the left sidebar, then choose an option in the Add slide panel.

The table below lists the available slide templates, their variants, and what each template works well for.

Modify Content

You can edit the content of a slide in two ways: directly on the slide or through its edit panel. Open the edit panel by hovering over a slide or thumbnail, then clicking the pencil icon that displays. In addition to text, you can manage images, audio, video, and web content in the Edit slide panel for slide templates that support them.

Text

Most text, including slide titles and descriptions, can be edited directly on the slide or in the Edit slide panel. To edit text with AI or apply formatting, simply highlight any text to display the formatting toolbar.

You can rearrange items in list and sequence slides using the Edit slide panel. Hover over elements and use the drag bar that appears. Remove elements by clicking the trash icon in the upper-right corner. To add a new element, click the Add button at the bottom.

Images

Image editing options include cropping, adding alt text and a caption, replacing the image with one from your computer, the content library, or source materials, or generating one with AI.

Audio

Add or replace audio by clicking the mic icon next to Audio. This opens the Course media window, where you can add AI audio, record your voice, or upload a file from your computer.

Video

Video options include uploading a new video from a file, replacing its thumbnail with either an AI-generated image or an uploaded file, and managing closed captions.

Web Content

Existing web content can be replaced by clicking Change and pasting a URL or embed code. We use Embedly to embed rich media, so you can include videos, images, documents, and other media from more than 400 content providers, including YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and Scribd. See the complete list of supported content providers here.

Add Speaker Notes

Add speaker notes for the currently-selected slide by clicking the Speaker Notes icon in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Use the Previous and Next buttons to navigate to other slides without closing the Speaker Notes sidebar.

Edit Slide Settings and Layout

The edit slide panel contains several settings and layout options.

Settings

The following slide settings are enabled by default and can be disabled as needed.

  • Slide animation
  • Show slide title
  • Show slide description (available only on the first slide)
  • Show logo

  • Inset right
  • Full bleed left
  • Full bleed right
  • Centered
  • Full width
  • Text over image
  • Grid

While a Table of Contents slide provides these options:
