Storyline 360: New Project Accessible Template
Article Last Updated Feb 10, 2026

We want you to be able to create accessible training with confidence from the very start. Beginning with a new, ready-to-use project template helps set clear, inclusive defaults before you add any content.
In the May 2025 update for Storyline 360, we updated the default settings for new projects to address five common accessibility considerations.
Scene title defined. Scene titles give screen reader users helpful context as they navigate a project. New projects now start with “Intro Scene” instead of “Untitled Scene”, making the structure clear from the beginning.
Slide title defined. Slide titles help learners understand what each slide is about, especially when using assistive technology. We changed“Untitled Slide” to “Intro Slide” to make organizing and navigating content easier.
Play/pause button enabled. Learners benefit from being able to start and stop playback as needed. The play/pause button is now enabled by default in the player controls, giving learners more control over how they engage with content.
Playback speed control enabled. Playback speed controls support a range of reading and processing speeds. This setting is now on by default, so learners can slow down or speed up playback in a way that works best for them.
Text upgraded. New projects now use upgraded text by default. Upgraded text improves text resizing, readability, and screen reader support, helping assistive technologies interpret content more reliably. Learn more about upgraded text.
Tip: If you plan to bring content from older projects into a new template, upgrade the project text first. Projects without upgraded text can’t be imported into the new template.
